My Son’s Day Off
Today is my son’s day off. He had a big day at school, he did all his homework, and he even got an extra hour of sleep. I was really excited to see him off to his adventure at home.

As soon as I arrived at the school, I found out that my son had a special needs class that day. He was going to be evaluated by the teacher and they would tell me what he needed to do to make sure he was having a successful day.
I knew that my son was going to be extra special needs, so I was worried about him. But I was also excited to see him off to his adventure.
As soon as my son arrived at home, I made sure that he had a good breakfast and set him up for his afternoon activities. He loves playing video games and watching TV, so I knew that he would be happy.
I also took him to the park, where he had his favorite game: catch. We played for a few hours, laughing and playing together.
After the park, we went to his favorite restaurant for dinner. He loves Chinese food, and I wanted to make sure that he had a good meal.
In the evening, we watched a movie together, and then I put him to bed with a good night’s sleep.
Today was a great day for my son, and I was so proud of him. He has been so brave and independent, and I am so happy that he is growing up so well.
I know that there will be ups and downs in life, but I am so grateful that my son is growing up in a safe and supportive environment. I am so proud of him, and I will always love him.
